Pine has been a major ally for me since my Fibro diagnosis. I don't know where I'd be in my pain management without the giant batches of Pine Oil I make every year. It's truly incredible as a topical for pain- one of its lesser known uses. Which is a shame, because Long-Leaf Pine is especially incredible for it in my experience.

How wonderful. I haven't used it in oil myself because I have others on hand that we use for topical pain relief. But you make a great point, thanks for contributing to the discussion!

I love pine trees they are so interesting and beautiful and I love how they are evergreen! There is also so many different kinds of amazing pines! One of my favorite plants in the pinaceae family is Larix laricina I also love Pinus strobus and Pinus resinosa! One of the things I love about pines too is there amazing smell!

Most definitely. I’m sure your eastern white pine is gorgeous. We have a western white pine (Pinus monticola) which happens to be our state tree and it’s lovely too. I had to look up Pinus resinous and I can see why it’s one of your favs! It’s hard to choose, but I adore the ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa), I still remember the first time I saw them. Thanks for sharing your favorites :)
