I love this! In my own experience (anecdotal evidence), I've found my thyme tinctures made from my garden thyme and dried and crafted by me, to be more potent in flavor and medicinal effect than store-bought organic thyme made into a tincture.
My favorite garden items to grow are herbs and berries. Both are so resilient and full of health benefits...and used up within the year. :)
Oh, I’m glad for hear that! I believe they are stronger, plus we harvest at peak conditions and use them right away. Which definitely makes for higher quality. Berries are great aren’t they!? What berries are your fav to grow?
I like growing strawberries and raspberries best. Partly because they grow so well here in Manitoba. One of these years I want to try growing blueberries again. I love them, but they need specific soil conditions.

That's great! I haven't tried blueberries myself because of our soil here also.
