I hope everyone had a wonderful week! It’s been an interesting one for me. On Monday, I took my pup for a hike and as we were walking through a grove of Aspens, she stumbled upon a sleeping skunk nestled in the leaves.
Needless to say, the skunk wasn’t happy about this rude awakening, and he did what skunks do: spray the intruder. Luckily, I wasn’t close, but poor Harley was. Walking back to the trailhead, I was downwind of Harley, and boy was she odorous. I was not looking forward to the drive home.
To help reduce the overpowering odor and hopefully keep some of the oils off my car, I put my shirt on Harley for the ride home. LOL. It did help some, and I’m happy to report that my car does not smell like a skunk.
Harley, on the other hand… Let’s just say it’s been difficult to eliminate all of the odor from Harley, especially on her head, because I can’t very well dunk her in the water. But with the help of some special skunk soap and baking soda, the rest of her body is a-ok.
It’s an ongoing situation in our household right now, but improving every day. 🦨🤢
The Topic at Hand
However, the topic for this post is about the addition of a podcast to this publication. I’ve hemmed and hawed over the last couple of months, but I finally decided to add this feature.
At this point, the podcast episodes will be an audio version of the posts I have already written in previous weeks and months, with some additional information added to each one.
Personally, I appreciate having an audio option because sometimes I don’t have time to read all the SubStacks I subscribe to. I love those that offer a podcast, so I can listen while driving or doing household chores.
Therefore, I wanted to offer this option to you as well. Currently, I have only published the trailer (this has taken longer than expected!), I will be adding more episodes as time permits. So stay tuned!
Please let me know your thoughts on adding an audio option.
